Small class sizes and individual attention allow teachers to focus on the building blocks of education in grades 1-4.

Strong reading skills are established, setting a firm foundation for life-long learning. Beginning Latin is added, furthering the students understanding of the English language and forming a basis for learning other languages.

Lessons in character are a daily occurrence at TVA. Learning about people and stories in the Bible, as well as the love of Christ, encourage students to aspire to great character. Math, Science, Social Studies and Bible round out the core curriculum and Physical Education, Ski days, Art, Music and Computer complete the exemplary Lower Academy program at The Vail Academy.
