As a support and extension of the family unit, The Vail Academy considers the family to be of first importance to a child. God, through His Word, indicates that the family is the most important human institution He designed. He compares it to the relationship believers have with Christ and the Father.
Ultimately it is the parents’ responsibility to educate their children therefore, we encourage and seek ways to actively involve parents, siblings and grandparents of our students in the programs of the school. In Romans chapter 12: 3-8 we are reminded that each member of the body of Christ has been gifted to contribute to the body in some capacity.
We have an active Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) that hold’s monthly meetings and coordinated many of the volunteer efforts at the school. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join the PTF.
